Josh grew up in Montreal and studied computer engineering at Waterloo. His nomadic, adventurous and inquisitive nature has led him to work, live and travel around the world.
Having moved back to Canada at the start of 2011, he started Functional Imperative to continue his drive to work with businesses that want to change the world.
Founder and Lead Developer, Khurram has worked in web development for most of the past decade. He brings the experience and expertise necessary to deliver the amazing experiences that today's web products demand.
When not working, Khurram is a professional yodeler, having competed internationally but has yet to win a single medal.
Recently a Toronto-based startup and intellectual property lawyer, Jake currently prefers networking to drafting. Jake's colleagues refer to him as Func-I's chief handshaker.
Raised as a diplo-brat, Jake has confusingly also worked in international criminal law, foreign policy, graphic design and photography.
Jon is a software developer with a decade of experience and he's focused on Ruby and Rails for the past five years. After working as the lead developer for an Ontario natural gas company, Jon joined our team as a senior Ruby developer.
When he's not contributing to open source projects or giving guest lectures at local colleges, you can find Jon having a beer after a competitive hockey game.
Jason is a Front-End Developer and UX designer with 7 years in the industry. He's worked with a range of clients of various sizes as a freelancer and with agencies.
When he's not churning out HTML and CSS, or developing wireframes, Jason plays rock music, and makes Korean tacos.
